I'm so excited to announce today that I have joined Create with Connie and Mary's Thursday Challenge. Every Thursday I will have a card to share with you that takes on whatever challenge we have for that week. For my very first week, we have a sketch challenge for you.
Here is the card that I made for this week.
I love to get layout inspiration from the catalogue and other places, so I really enjoyed having a sketch to spark my creativity. I hope seeing my sample and the ones from the others on the Design Team will inspire you in your own card making! Here is what the sketch looks like.
When I first saw the sketch I immediately thought of the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Then I was looking at a few of my Sale-a-Bration items and realized the cute candles from the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set would be just the perfect size. With a pallet of Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink and Merry Merlot, I love the look of this card.
The dimensions are:
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Embossed Mossy Meadow Layer: 4 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Petal Pink: 4 1/4" x 3 1/2"
True Love DSP: 4 1/4" x 3 1/4"
