The last few years has seen a growing trend in celebrating Galentine's Day and I am all for it! If you're wondering what that means . . . On February 13th, take some time to celebrate all the amazing women in your life. In a normal year, that might mean getting together for a fun brunch or something. This year, how about we all send a card to at least one person for Galentine's Day? Wouldn't that be fun!
I made a card on my Facebook Live yesterday that would be perfect for this occasion.
I wanted to design a card that wasn't too cutesy, but would be more appropriate to send to a friend. I took an old card that I had made and reused the layout. It ended up being a great way to get my creativity going!
I love the white and black together with just a hint of pink. I went back to the Heartfelt Stamp Set because it is one of my favourite Valentine's images. I also grabbed my Heart Punch Pack to punch the sentiment out and then punch a coordinating heart in Gold Foil.
For the inside of the card, I thought that it would be fun to add a little pocket inside where you could put a gift card. I always think the treat of a coffee is so thoughtful!
