Sale-a-Bration Sneak Peek: Delicate Dahlias

Stampin' Up! has a special surprise for us all this year, a second round of Sale-a-Bration! I am so excited about this as it pairs with the beginning of the upcoming holiday Mini Catalogue. What could be better than getting some fun new Christmas crafting products and then also earning free products from the Sale-a-Bration brochure? So, yesterday on my Facebook Live, I jumped in with one of my favourite items from the brochure, the Delicate Dahlias stamp set.

I've never tried to grow Dahlias myself, but they are definitely one of my favourite flowers in a garden. I love how bold and dramatic they are and I especially love the ones that are vibrant corals and pinks. So I thought that it would be fun to incorporate those colours into my card. I used the Emboss Resist technique to create the white outline for the flower and then used my blending brushes with Polished Pink and Calypso Coral ink to colour it in.

If you would like to see all the details of how to make this card you can check out the replay of my Facebook Live video below. You can also follow me on Facebook so that you don't miss out on my next Live, which are every Thursday at 12pm MT.

The new Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration begin on Tuesday, August 3rd, so be sure to get your wish list ready! You can request a catalogue here or see the PDF versions once the catalogues are live.
