True Love Designer Series Paper

It really is true love with this designer series paper that is a part of the Love You Always Suite from Stampin' Up!'s new January to June Mini Catalogue. I don't tend to make a lot of Valentine's projects, but I love that this suite is actually really versatile and could be used in all sorts of different ways.

I have decided to just focus on the True Love Designer Series Paper today and I have 3 different projects to show you.

True Love DSP Stampin' Up! Canada

For this first one, I wanted to highlight how the awesome black and white patterns go together. In the package, one side of the paper is all flower designs and the other side is more graphic patterns. The 2 sides end up being perfect compliments to each other. Also, my new favourite colour is Soft Sea Foam! Have you used that colour much? I think it looks really good with Just Jade here on this card.

Now, of course the flower patterns on this paper are just begging to be coloured. This can be done in so many ways, such as Stampin' Blends, the new Blending Brushes or the Watercolour Pencils like I have used here. I like how the pencils give you a softer feel. I just coloured in the flowers using Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight and the leaves are Granny Apple Green. I used the Blending Pens to finish the look and then fussy cut out the flowers to layer up on my card. Again, the flower pattern looks so pretty paired with the graphic striped pattern.

For my last project I wanted to try the Love You Always Treat Boxes. This is what I made on my Facebook Live today. To see how this box came together you can just watch the replay of the video here below. At the end of this post you can also see a list of all the products I used today and you can shop directly from there.
