Halloween Treat Bag

So I have to admit I'm not really all that into scary Halloween, but I love the trend of a cute Halloween. Over the years, I have had so much fun helping my kiddos with their costumes, even making a few of them! I also love a good reason to enjoy some candy and I have so many favourites. Now, I know candy corn is a love or hate it kind of candy, so I'm sorry in advance if you're in the hate it category . . . but I love it!

I mean it's so cute and fun and deserves its little moment of celebration. They are the perfect filler for these awesome treat bags from Stampin' Up!, which are perfect for any occasion. The tag was a lot of fun to create as well. I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies, which are a must have! There are 2 different styles and 4 sizes of each one, perfect for any gift giving. I cut the largest size out in Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I then cut out the size smaller in the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper and just trimmed off the top. This DSP is awesome of course because it is black and white and you can just add whatever colour you like to it!

Of course, the best part of the tag is the little candy corn! Using the Strawberry Builder Punch, I punched out a strawberry in Basic White cardstock. Then, I cut one strip of Pumpkin Pie and one of Daffodil Delight, laid them on the white and trimmed off the excess. So cute! When you add a couple other Halloween favourites like the Black Glitter Paper and the Black & White Gingham Ribbon, you are all set to deliver a yummy treat to a friend! One who appreciates candy corn of course;) Enjoy!
