1 Layout, 2 Looks! Card Ideas with Stampin’ Up!’s New Hobby Haven Suite

There’s something extra special about this week's project — it features the brand new Hobby Haven Suite Collection, coming soon to the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives!

This suite is full of cozy, hobby-inspired designs: reading, baking, sewing, and even something for the plant lady in your life! It’s perfect for creating heartfelt handmade cards and gifts for the people in your life who love their hobbies as much as you do.

For this week’s project, I’m sharing two card designs (one simple, one stepped-up) and a coordinating gift card holder that can be easily themed to any hobby. Let’s take a closer look at each one!

Card 1

This first card is all about a clean, easy-to-copy layout that works beautifully with any of the patterned papers in the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper pack.

You can switch up the paper and sentiment to match your recipient’s favourite hobby — from baking to reading to sewing — while keeping the same base design.

• Add a little interest to the cardstock layer by blending on some colour to the edges and stamping the cute star image around the edge too.

• You can fussy cut the images out of the DSP or if that is not your thing, this DSP comes with 2 sheets of die-cuts all ready to go!

Card 2

If you love adding detail and dimension, this stepped-up version takes the same layout to the next level! Here I've added in the leaves from the 'Creative Haven' Dies and the super cute Garden Green Chevron Ribbon.

Gift Card Holder

To finish things off, I made a coordinating gift card holder that matches the suite perfectly. You can theme it to fit your gift — for example, a bookshop card for the reader, a café card for the baker, or a gift card to the spa for your bestie!

• Use the DSP to create the gift card holder, add a tag on front and you're done!
