12 Days of Christmas! Day 7: Heartwarming Hugs Treat Packaging

One of my favourite things to make is treat packaging. Why wouldn't you want a fun way to give someone some candy or chocolate?! The Heartwarming Hugs Suite has everything you need to dress up your Christmas goodies.

Stampin' Up! Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper

So, technically today you get 2 projects for the price of 1! They are super easy to make and personalize to your own style.

The treat box uses the 2"x 2" clear tiny treat boxes from Stampin' Up!, so already half the work is done for you, all you have to do is fold it up! I wrapped the box in a 1 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. It will slide off easily when you want to open the box. Next up is just choosing your favourite coordinating ribbon and wrapping it around. For the tag I used a variety of pieces from the Warm Hugs Bundle. There is such a great variety of sayings and images to use how you would like. I just love those itty bitty candy canes!

Stampin' Up! Warm Hugs Stamp Set and Warm Hugs Dies

This next little pocket treat package is such a great one to learn how to make. It is so easy, you don't even need any adhesive!

Just take a 6"x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper and fold it in half corner to corner, giving you a triangle. With the point of the triangle at the top, take the right bottom corner and fold it over toward the left. Repeat with the left corner. It's like you're folding arms in the front.

Then all you have to do is fold the top down and you have made yourself a little pocket! It would be great to fit in a flat style chocolate or even a gift card.

Any tag or sentiment would look so cute and you can keep it pretty simple. I used a shape from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, punched out a tree with the Pine Tree Punch and layered on my sentiment. This sentiment is from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set. Add a bow and voilá, a perfect tag! I think this would be really fun as a table favour as well at Christmas. I hope you'll try these out this Christmas!

If you would like any of these products to make your own projects, I have a list of everything I used below. You can just click an image and it will take you right to my shopping page. When you shop with me, the next month I will send you a special thank you in the mail!

Thanks for hanging out with me today, I'll be back tomorrow with another fun Christmas project for you!
