12 Days of Christmas! Day 9: A Sweet Stampin' Up! Christmas Card

The inspiration for Day 9 of my 12 Days of Christmas actually came from Stampin' Up!'s November's Paper Pumpkin subscription box. It was the sweetest gingerbread theme and I wanted to create a card with the same colour scheme.

Aren't those colours just wonderful together?! I love discovering a new way to combine colours. Sometimes when I am starting a new card I pull out the ink pads and start laying them out together to see which ones I want to use. It is a great way to visualize the colours working together and Stampin' Up!'s colours are just the best!

I was hoping the card would have a cute and sweet look with all those colours working together. I added to the whimsy but using the dotted embossing folder from the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder pack and the Crinkled White Seam Binding Ribbon, which has a soft and light feel to it. The striped paper is from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper and the cute little dots are the All the Trimmings Embellishments.

I had also really been wanting to use the Playful Alphabet Dies on a Christmas card and this was my first one! I love the way the 'Merry' looks paired with the Christmas stamp, which is from the For Unto Us stamp set.

The dimensions for the paper in case you want to CASE this card are:

- Whisper White: 3 1/4" x 5 1/2"

- Mint Macaron: 2 3/4" x 5 1/2"

- Striped DSP: 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"

If you would like any of these products to make your own projects, I have a list of everything I used below. You can just click an image and it will take you right to my shopping page. When you shop with me, the next month I will send you a special thank you in the mail!

Thanks for hanging out with me today, I'll be back tomorrow with another fun Christmas project for you!
