3 Birthday Card Ideas with Stampin’ Up!’s Brushed with Beauty Suite: Weekly Class To Go

I’m so excited to share this week’s Card Class To Go, featuring the brand new Brushed with Beauty Suite — one of Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous new Online Exclusives! This beautiful collection is full of soft florals, artistic backgrounds, and coordinating dies that make every card look like a mini work of art.
In this week’s class, I’m creating three beautiful birthday cards, each one a little more stepped up than the last. You’ll see how easy it is to mix the gorgeous stamped images, paper (including vellum!), and coordinating dies to create cards that go from simple to stunning — perfect for celebrating someone special!

Card 1
I wanted to start off with a super simple card that could be recreated with any of the patterns of the DSP. I chose my favourite pattern for the inspiration - the yellow one of course!💛
Colour Combo: Darling Duckling & Mossy Meadow
Vellum Tip: It's so fun to have some vellum back! On this card it's used as a way to soften the background without hiding it. I love this simple effect!
Card 2
This card brings in the coordinating dies that come with this suite. The words are in the 'Words of Beauty' Bundle and the leafy dies are in the 'Petals of Beauty' Bundle.
Colour Combo: Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow & Crumb Cake
Vellum Tip: Cut out your dies in vellum for a soft and subtle detail to add to your card. Perfect for this beautiful floral pattern!
Card 3
To step it up a bit for this last card, I did a little bit of stamping with the 'Petals of Beauty' Stamp Set.
Colour Combo: Lost Lagoon, Darling Duckling, Petal Pink & Mossy Meadow. I just LOVE the colours in this DSP!
Vellum Tip: You can emboss your vellum with your favourite embossing folder! This is the ' Beautiful Pattern' Embossing Folder that comes with this Suite.
