3 Handmade Card Layout Ideas to Inspire Your Next Project

Do you ever finally sit down to make a few cards and don't want to spend your whole time just thinking of a design? Card making doesn't need to be hard or time consuming. I love to go back to some of my previous designs and just re-use them with new products. What makes the card special is the fun new ways you put your paper crafting supplies together, so the idea always looks new and fresh!

Today on my YouTube Live (replay below), I shared 3 layout ideas. Each card features one of Stampin' Up!'s fabulous Designer Series Papers from the January to April Mini Catalogue. With all of Stampin' Up!'s coordinating products, it's easy to start with the paper and add in some ribbon and gems to complete the card!

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder tips and ideas

I knew I wanted to find a way to use the Perennial Lavender DSP again, so that was my inspiration for my fist card. This is a layout I used time and again. It's especially fantastic because you get to see both sides of the DSP! Be sure to scroll down to the video replay to see all the details.

The second card features the Poetic Expressions DSP. This paper will be perfect for you if you love the 2023-2025 In Colors. This layout is another quick and easy one you'll love to add to your repertoire.

Lastly, I shared this card with a Peek a Boo window. What a fun way to highlight the beautiful Forever Love DSP! Did I mention that I'm a sucker for any paper that has gold foil on it?! This card takes a little more effort as you need to create the window and the frame for it, but it's worth it.

All 3 of these cards are a part of my current free card kit to go with a purchase. Read on for all the info.

To see all the tips and ideas that I shared while making these cards, remember to scroll on to the end to see the YouTube video. You're going to love creating with this product!
