For the first time ever, Stampin' Up! is celebrating Sale-a-Bration for the second time this year! For all of August and September, you can enjoy all the perks of Sale-a-bration and earn free products to enjoy crafting with. Today, I wanted to create a simple card for you that features 2 of the awesome products that you can earn for free.
The Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper can be earned for free when you spend $60. There are 3 double sided designs (4 of each) that are just in black and white. I love this kind of paper because it can be anything you want it to be! It can be paired with your favourite colours or even coloured itself! I decided to use 2 of my favourite colours to get this card started; Pool Party and Bumblebee.
I also chose a simple layout for this card that I love to use over and over. The first strip of DSP is cut to 1" x 5 1/2", the second larger piece is 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". The Pool Party cardstock was cut to 1/2" thick to just tuck in between for a little bit of colour.
The second Sale-a-Bration product that I wanted to share with you today is the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set. This set can be earned for free when you spend $120. I love the detailed image of the dahlia and it also comes with some lovely sentiments. I stamped the full dahlia first in Bumblebee (stamping off once) and then I stamped the outline on top, again in Bumblebee. I fussy cut out the flower and layered it on top of the Bumblebee gingham ribbon (another favourite!). You could choose any of the sentiments that you like and stamp it on Pool Party.
