There are two products that I've been itching to use and this week's sketch challenge for Create with Connie & Mary created the perfect opportunity! One is a Sale-a-bration item that is only available until the end of the month (yikes!) and the other is a super fun Christmas sentiment stamp set.
You know the first one right? If you haven't seen the Be Dazzling Paper from the Sale-a-Bration brochure yet, you have to trust me that it is amazing! It is not like other glimmer paper, it looks like it's made up of little jewels and is so fun and sparkly! The stamp set is of course Holly Jolly Wishes from the July - December 2021 Mini Catalogue. I love that it has elegant fonts as well as whimsical ones, like the one I used here. All of this was made possible by this fun sketch challenge, check out the original to help you as you create your own interpretation!
To create this card, I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the awesome Be Dazzling paper into 3 uniform rectangles. I then cut a piece of the Peaceful Prints DSP that is also a Sale-a-bration item (to be earned for free!) at 2 1/4" x 5 1/4". The last bit of the sketch created a great base for my sentiment. I used a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock cut at 3" x 1/2".
Using the Layering Circles Dies, I stamped the sentiment on Basic White in Real Red Ink and layered it on top of the coordinating scalloped circle in Real Red cardstock. I felt like the card needed one more thing, so I cut out these cute stars from the Christmas Trimmings Dies.
