Hello all! It's time for another colour challenge for Create with Connie & Mary. My card for you today is a great all occasion card. Perfect to send a hello to a friend, or change up the sentiment for exactly what you need.
The colours this week are another great combination for this time of year. Evening Evergreen is turning out to be one of those colours that surprisingly goes with more colours than you think! Don't you agree? I think that you'll find that Evening Evergreen is the perfect compliment for so many of your projects.
I used the In Symmetry Stamp Set as the inspiration for this card. First I created a background using my Blending Brushes with Evening Evergreen. For the main flower, I stamped it first in Bumblebee and then added on a bit of Pumpkin Pie using a Sponge Dauber. I love the two-tone look it gets this way! I repeated this, cut them out and used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere them to the card.
This stamp set gives you lots of great images to work with and you can add your favourites in layers or as a kind of embellishment, like I did here with the little flowers. I even had gems in the perfect colours! Check out the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and a personal fav, the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
