Valentine's Day can be a fun way to share a little love with those special people in your life. I think when it comes to making cards or treats it can also be really fun to make them for your friends and family as well as your significant other. Have you heard of Galentine's Day? This has been something that has really caught on over the last few years and is really about celebrating friendships. This week on my Facebook Live (catch the replay below), I shared 2 fun projects that can be a simple way to send a gift card or a special treat to your besties.
This first card has a special little touch to it that makes it a gift card holder on the inside. (For you know maybe a Starbucks card? Wink, wink.) It was fun to use some patterned paper from Stampin' Up!'s current Valentine's Suite (Country Floral Lane) in a way that suited a card for a friend. The sentiment comes from a new favourite of mine called Covered in Sunshine. I love how it looks like a little rainbow!

For my second project, I wanted something that would be a quick and easy way to gift a little treat, (like maybe some cookies?!) for a friend. It's good to remember that you don't always have to make a bag or box from scratch. Stampin' Up! has so many fun gift packaging items that you can just add your own little touch to.
