This Thursday, along with Create with Connie & Mary, I have a fabulous colour combination to share with you. It's always so much fun to bring in a new colour and see how it plays off some of the classic Stampin' Up! colours.
Here is my card for this week's challenge.
This year I find that I am in love with all 5 of the new In Colors. Usually I have a favourite, but this year I haven't been able to decide! I know for sure I love Soft Succulent and I know that you are going to love adding it to your collection.
Here are the colours we paired with it this week.
I was inspired by a card design from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and decided to use the Forever Flourishing Dies along with the Forever Fern Stamp Set and Greenery Embossing Folders. I feel like the leaves look so good in the rich tones of Cajun Crazy and Crushed Curry.
I embossed Soft Succulent cardstock with the Greenery Embossing Folder and cut it to 3 1/4" x 5 1/2", then layered it on Crushed Curry paper (from the fabulous Pattern Party DSP) cut at 3 3/4" x 5 1/2". These pieces were adhered to a Soft Succulent card base.
I then stamped 3 of the leaf images, 1 in each of the 3 colours and cut them out with the dies. Using dimensionals, I put them each on a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2' square of Basic White cardstock. Then simply snip off the parts of the leaf that hang off to finish the look.
Any sentiment would look great on this card. I simply added a "Hello" and I'm looking forward to popping this in the mail for a friend! I have a full list of supplies at the end of this post.
