Colour Inspiration: CCMC664

This week for the Colour Challenge with Create with Connie & Mary, I was so excited to get to work with 3 of my most favourite colours! I especially love using them all together! I decided to go with a summery vibe and break out my Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set.

Do you spot one of your favourite colours?

The basic dimensions for the card are:

  • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4"

  • Bumblebee DSP (Dandy Garden): 5" x 3 3/4"

  • Night of Navy Cardstock: 4 3/8" x 3 5/8"

  • Flirty Flamingo DSP (Pattern Party): 4 1/4" x 3 1/2"

It is always fun to stamp with these super cute popsicles. Two of them are stamped with Flirty Flamingo on the bottom and Bumblebee (stamped off once) on top. The middle popsicle is with Flirty Flamingo on the bottom and on the top stamped off once. The popsicle sticks are stamped with Cinnamon Cider and then I hand cut out all the shapes.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the "Happy Birthday" in white on Night of Navy cardstock, added the little "You're So Cool" and a bow and the card was done!

So, what do you think? Are these some of your favourite colours too? If not, maybe give them a try together and see what you come up with! Be sure to head over to Create with Connie & Mary and then you will see lots of other fabulous ideas to get you going!
