This suite in the August - December Mini Catalogue has been one of my favourites since the first day I saw it and it has not disappointed! It has been so enjoyable to create all sorts of different projects with the Suite.
In this card, it was fun to try to use a variety of the products in the suite. On a Mossy Meadow base for the card, I chose 2 coordinating patterns from the Heartwarming Hugs DSP and cut them out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies for some added detail. Then it was time to layer up!
The first layer is the Mossy Meadow Diagonal Striped Ribbon, which I am in love with! It is so rich in person and both sides of it look amazing. I'm actually really looking forward to wrapping presents with it and making some tags closer to Christmas.
The suite also features 2 Embossing Folders, Wrapped in Texture. The polka-dot one has definitely become a go-to for me on my Christmas projects. I used this embossing folder (in my new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine!) on a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and then also cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
For the sentiment I chose one from the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set and stamped it in Real Red on a circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies. It's simple to add a little dimension by stamping the sentiment in a second colour (here I used Mossy Meadow) and then cut out the 'Joy' and add it on top of the red with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Finally, I just added the cute little trees that you can find in the Warm Hugs Stamp Set and a few of my Christmas staple, the Red Rhinestones.
You really can't go wrong with any piece of this suite, the coordination makes your projects come to life! See below for a list of all the products I used. Here's another card I made.
