I was married in October and so I'm really sentimental about fall weddings. Of course, colour schemes and decor have changed quite a bit since I was married, but I am really loving the colours that are on trend right now. One colour combo that I have seen for current weddings included Forest Green and Burnt Orange and I knew that I could find Stampin' Up! colours that would be perfect! So, here is a wedding card inspired by these colours; Evening Evergreen, Cajun Craze and Petal Pink.
This is now the second card that I have used Cajun Craze on this fall! It's really starting to connect with me. The Forever Fern Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!'s 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue is really fabulous for weddings or an anniversary card. I just love the leaf images and the detail on them. I took a piece of Basic White and stamped the first image in Evening Evergreen. Then, on a separate piece I stamped a different image in Cajun Craze, cut it out with the coordinating dies and then used Stampin' Dimensionals to lay it on the cardstock.
The basic dimensions for this card are:
Evening Evergreen Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4"
Cajun Craze:3 3/4" x 3"
Petal Pink: 3 1/8" x 4 3/8"
Basic White: 3" x 4 1/4"
Banner: 4 1/4" x 1", then punch the ends
Ribbon: 4 1/4"
What do you think of these colours together? I might not have paired them together before, but I am really loving this combo now! I might just need to use it for my anniversary card in a couple weeks.
