Stampin' Up!® has a lot of amazing products beyond stamp sets to help you easily create your own beautiful handmade cards. Personally, I'm always a little timid to try a new technique, so I love it when I finally go for it and realize how simple it really is! The new Masking Paper takes a technique that crafters have been doing for awhile and just makes it more simple. This week on my Livestream, (replay is below), it was fun to play around with it a bit for you.
This first card is similar to one that I tried a couple of weeks ago. I loved it so much, I created it again! This time switching out the colour scheme and the stamp set. Once you have the technique, you can apply it to your own favourite products.
I created 2 more samples for you using the same colours as the first card. These are showing how you can cut out your favourite shape from the masking paper and then try different techniques to colour around it. Some other amazing tools that can help you create cards like these are Stampin' Up!®'s Blending Brushes and Spritzers.
