Gift Box Card Set with Stampin' Up!'s Floral Charm DSP

As we move through August (the summer is going by so fast!), I find that I'm really drawn to this 'Floral Charm' Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!. From the beautiful floral patterns on one side to the rich regal colours on the other side, it is the perfect paper to help you create amazing cards.

This week on my YouTube Live video tutorial (replay is below), I used this DSP to create a gift box that fits a set of 4 cards, each one featuring a different pattern.

Gift Box

I love little box sets like this, they make great gifts! This box fits 4 full size cards (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and their envelopes.

• This box has a main inside piece and the outside cover. Here are the basic dimensions, but it will help to watch the video to see how it all comes together.

  • Box is 9 5/8" x 6 1/4".

    • On each end of the short side, score at 7/8".

    • On the long side score at 3" and 3 7/8".

  • Cover is 4 3/4" x 12".

    • Score on the long side at 5 7/8" and 6 7/8".

    • Add on a 1" piece of DSP to extend the length of the front cover.

Cards

To create some continuity in the card set, each card base was made with Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then I added a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic Beige as the base layer for each card. Next up was to have fun showcasing all the beautiful patterns of the DSP!

• Bundle: This card set also features the 'Label Me Grateful' Bundle. I absolutely love the font of the stamp set and it has 5 really lovely sentiments to choose from. I've used each of them on this project.
