Handmade Christmas Cards & Gift Tags with Stampin’ Up’s Modern Christmas Suite

The holidays are the perfect time to add a handmade touch to your celebrations — whether it’s creating cards to send, tags to dress up your gifts, or even ornaments to hang on the tree. The Modern Christmas Suite from Stampin’ Up! makes it easy to craft festive projects with a fresh, stylish twist.

In this post, I’m sharing three ideas you can make with this Online Exclusive suite: a set of quick gift tags, a stepped-up tag that doubles as an ornament, and a handmade Christmas card.

🎁 Project 1: Quick & Festive Gift Tags

Gift tags are one of the easiest ways to add a handmade touch to your wrapping. For this first project, I created a set of three tags using products from the Modern Christmas Suite.

✨ Key ideas:

• Keep a similar layout for each tag and it will be easy to make multiples!

• Step up your tags by trying heat embossing. Here I've showed embossing in White, Gold & Black.

• Mix & Match the dies for so many options - trees, ornaments & stars are all included!

🎄 Project 2: Stepped-Up Gift Tag Ornament

Next, I took the idea of a gift tag and stepped it up into something extra special — a tag that can also double as a Christmas ornament.

✨ Key ideas:

• Try out the Large Gold Hoops that are a part of the Suite. They really add an elegance to your tag!

• Make your focal point 3D! Here I've put 3 trees together to create this 3D look. You could also mimic this on the back side if you wanted.

💌 Project 3: Handmade Christmas Card

Finally, I shared a beautiful Christmas card design featuring the suite. This project ties everything together and shows how versatile these products are for holiday crafting.

✨ Key ideas:

• Combine your favourite mix of elements from the suite for your focal point. This card layout would look great with a mix of ornaments like I've shown or change it up to a set of trees!

• The gold ornaments are simply cut out of the DSP and are so cute!.
