Today I have a few more cute cards featuring the Berry Delightful DSP from Sale-a-Bration and its coordinating stamp set, Berry Blessings. I don't know if it's because it's January and winter is not my favourite, but I am just drawn to this cute bundle! The berries are just making me happy! For today's project I was picturing making a set of cards that could be given away as a gift. The Berry Delightful DSP has 6 different berry designs, each featuring a different berry combination and I think that makes it perfect for a card set!
For each card, I cut out the background pattern at 5" x 3 3/4" and the berry patterned paper at 4 3/4" x 3 1/2". Before I attached the paper to the card, I used a piece of the black and white twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack and wrapped it around, tying a bow in the front. I decided to lay the DSP at an angle so you could see peeks of the background pattern.
I used 2 different sentiments from the Berry Blessings Stamp Set, heat embossing them on black cardstock with white embossing powder. The label dies are a couple of my favourites and can be found in the Painted Label Dies set. I just love the embossed edge detail on them.
On the inside of each card I stamped the coordinating berry that went with the paper. So, there was one blueberry, one blackberry, one raspberry and one that was a mix of a blackberry and a raspberry. I have to admit, that might be the very first time I have ever stamped in Pacific Point! Isn't that crazy?! I might have to start using it more often!
I think this set of 4 cards is going to make a sweet gift! I'll stamp a few coordinating envelopes to go with them and they will be ready to go!
