Make a Gift Set of 4 Cards with Stampin’ Up!’s Cute as a Bug DSP: Weekly Class To Go

This week I’m playing with the Cute As A Bug Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!, and I can’t get over how fun these patterns are - earthy, yet cheerful!

For these cards, I kept things really simple and used one layout to create all four designs. This is one of my favourite ways to make multiple cards at once — you don’t have to think too much about the design, and you still end up with a set that looks cohesive.

Each card features a different pattern from the paper, along with a mix of sentiments and colour combinations. They all have their own little personality, but still work beautifully together as a set.

To finish them off, I bundled the cards together with a bow and added a tag to turn them into a sweet and easy handmade gift. This would be perfect to have on hand or to give to someone who loves sending cards.

Cards:

Each card follows the same formula, yet each leads to its own cute creation!

First I chose the pattern of DSP that I wanted to use and 2 or 3 coordinating colours of cardstock to match.
Next, I added the circle as a place to highlight the bugs.
Then it was all about choosing a cute and fun combination of bugs! I just cut mine out of the DSP, but there is also the 'Sweet Bugs' Bundle for even more creative options.
To finish off, I added a sentiment and some 'Dear Dots'!
