Mother's Day Fun Fold Card

Today's card again features a few of the Last Chance Products from Stampin' Up! that will be retiring soon. They also happen to be a few of my favourites! However, this card has a great fun fold design that will be awesome to try with your own favourite products too! I think that it is perfect for a Mother's Day Card, but of course would be fabulous for any occasion!

This card can be called a Double Gate Fold and is a fun surprise way to open a card! To begin this card, I decided to pull out my Colour Coach to help me come up with a colour scheme that I haven't used much before. I tend to always default to the same colours, so it's good to throw something new in the mix once in awhile! To be fair, I still used 2 of my favourite colours, Petal Pink and Bumblebee, but I paired it with Garden Green which I have never done before. I think those colours look awesome together!

I made this card on my Facebook Live last week, so if you would like to see how it all came together, be sure to watch the video that I have included below. I go live every Thursday at 12 pm MT on my Facebook Page, I'd love it if you joined me for the next one!

The dimensions for this card are as follows:

Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Then score from each end on the long side at 2 1/8".

DSP: 2 pieces cut at 2" x 5 1/4".

Garden Green Cardstock: 2 pieces cut at 4" x 2 1/2".

DSP: 3 3/4" x 2 1/4". (You can cut 2 of these if you want DSP on both top and bottom panels).

Inside of Card: Basic White cut at 4" x 5 1/4".

I'm kind of new to trying fun fold cards, so every one I do is fun to learn! To see all of the products I used on this card, be sure to see the list at the bottom of this post and pick up the ones that are retiring soon! There are still some awesome deals to be had!

Here is the video with a full tutorial for you to learn how to make this card! Enjoy!
