All of the paper designs that are in the Sale-a-Bration 2021 Brochure from Stampin' Up! are so much fun to work with. I keep thinking that I have picked a favourite until I use the next design and then that one becomes my new favourite!
This has proven true with the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper that can be found on Page 3 of your Sale-A-Bration Brochure.
Today I have 3 simple cards for you that highlight this awesome paper. The bold patterns just want to be the star of the show, so I decided to let them do all the work! I have paired this paper with another Sale-a-Bration item, the Approaching Perfection Cling Stamp Set that can be found on Page 6 of the brochure.
For the base of all 3 cards I used Smoky Slate cardstock, which is a perfect complement to the colours in this paper. The striped pattern is cut at 1 1/2" x 5 3/8". The flower pattern is cut at 3 1/2" x 5 3/8". I then layered on a strip of Night of Navy cardstock cut at 1/4" x 5 3/8". Before I attached the DSP to the front of the card, I wrapped a piece of White Twine around 3 times and then tied a bow. The sentiment is from the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set, stamped in Night of Navy on Petal Pink cardstock. The label shape can be found in the Wild Rose Dies. So simple right? The stamp set has images and sentiments that are great for either the inside or the outside of a card.
Here's another card with a similar layout idea. I simply switched the orientation of the paper.
For the third card, the design on the paper has a big, bold, beautiful flower pattern. Again, I just let the designer series paper be the focal point of the card. The sentiment on this card can be found in the brand new Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set in the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue.
