Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme this week is Animals! I'm looking forward to seeing all the cute animals that everyone chose for their projects. I've got a fun Christmas Penguin for you today from the Penguin Place Stamp Set.
I've used a winter colour scheme with Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana with Black & White. Here are the basic dimensions to the card.
Coastal Cabana Card Base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", folded in half at 4 1/4".
Bermuda Bay Cardstock: 4" x 5 1/2".
Snowflake DSP: 3 3/4" x 5 1/2".
Celebrate Everything DSP: 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Pool Party Ribbon: 12"
Once all the basic layers of the card were added, I punched out a black circle with the Decorative Circle Punch and placed it on top of the Pool Party Ribbon that I gathered up in three loops. The penguin was stamped in Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay and Mango Melody. I heat embossed the sentiment in black on Bermuda Bay and just cut to size. Lastly, this card needed some sparkly gems and I went for the Adhesive-Backed Sequins & Gems. So cute!
