Saturday Blog Hop: Beach Party

It's the long weekend here in Canada and I love our theme for this week - Beach Party! I wish I had a beach close by to go visit this weekend, it's going to be a hot one here. I'll just have to dream of dipping my toes in the ocean and have fun crafting instead!🏝️

Products Used

• Bundle: 'Splash & Relax'. This has been such a favourite this summer!

• Colour Combo: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight & Crisp Cantaloupe.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Pool Party Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

   2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut Polka Dot DSP to 4" x 5 1/4" and add to card.

   2. Cut Honeycomb DSP to 3" x 4" and add to card.

   3. Using the 'Extraordinary Life' Dies, cut out the little note paper out of the Black & White DSP and add to card with dimensionals.

3. Details:

   1. Cut out flip flops in Crisp Cantaloupe Two-Tone Cardstock.

   2. Stamp beach ball in Daffodil Delight. Add both of these to card.

   3. Add on your favourite sentiment. I just love this 'Hello Sunshine'. I heat embossed it in white on Pool Party cardstock and fussy cut it out and added to card with dimensionals. Then I added the little 'Happy Birthday' from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set.

   4. Finish off with the 'Array of Dots' in yellow. 💛
