Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! The theme this week is Birthday Bash. This is perfect for me this month as we have a lot of birthdays and celebrations in the month of June, so I always think of this month as birthday themed anyway. I'm looking forward to celebrating my dad, sister & my son this month!
I used this card as a way to play with a few of my new favourite colours. The 'happy' was cut out with the Alphabet a la Mode Dies (and with Adhesive Sheets for easy application!) in Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Berry Burst & Bubble Bath. I paired this with the classic and super useful Biggest Wish Stamp Set by heat embossing in white on black cardstock and then just fussy cutting it out.
The Basic White cardstock was cut to 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" and put on top of this awesome black & white pattern from the Zoo Crew DSP cut at 4" x 5 1/4". The card base is Bubble Bath and I am so happy with how fun this colour is! To embellish the card, the Parakeet Party Twine was just right and then I grabbed my new favourite gems at the moment, the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack, because they come in all these colours.
