Saturday Blog Hop: Casing Connie Babbert 2026

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! We love creating for you to give you some inspiration in your own crafting.

This week we are Caseing the last, but not least designer - Connie Babbert! I chose this card for its different colour combo and fun layout! I love it and it was fun to take her idea and create my own card from it.

Products Used

• Colour Combo: Azure Afternoon, Coastal Cabana & Peach Pie. These colours look lovely together and it was good to pull me out of my pinks!

• Bundle: 'Simply Beautiful'. I am still loving the large flower image from this stamp set. It makes putting a card together so easy!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Azure Afternoon Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

   2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut 'Splash of Sparkles' DSP to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Add to card base.

   2. Cut Coastal Cabana Cardstock to 4 1/8" x 2 3/4". Add to centre of card.

   3. Cut coordinating DSP (this is from the 'Hobby Haven' DSP) to 4 1/8" x 2 1/2". Add to centre of Coastal Cabana.

3. Details:

   1. Stamp all the images in Memento Tuxedo Black.

      1. With Blending Brushes, colour the flowers in Peach Pie, the 2 larger leaves in Coastal Cabana and the single leaf in Azure Afternoon.

      2. Cut out with the coordinating dies.

      3. Add leaves to card with SEAL and the flowers with Dimensionals.

   2. Sentiment

      1. Heat emboss sentiment in white on Azure Afternoon. This sentiment is from March's Product of the Month - 'Notes of Spring'. Add to card.

   3. Finish with the 'Dear Dots' in Pool Party.
