Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Colourful Leaves is our theme for this week. I tried something a little new for myself and did some water colouring to create some fun and brightly coloured leaves. I used Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lime Twist, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry. I tried my hand at layering in 2 colours together and layering light and dark together to create some dimension for each leaf.
Once the colour dried, I cut out the leaves using the Autumn Leaves Dies. I really loved how they turned out and wanted them to pop off the card, so I used a white card base. To add in more texture I embossed a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Shaded Spruce using the Something Fancy Stamp Set. I'm still loving copper right now, so I added in some copper ribbon and embellishments to finish off the card!
