Saturday Blog Hop: Colouring Inside the Lines

Our cards this week are all about Colouring Inside the Lines. This was really timely for me as this week I've been focusing on making cards with my favourite products, colours and techniques, which definitely includes colouring!

Products Used

• Bundle: 'Fern & Flora'. I've created a few cards with the dies, but not too many with colouring in the lined images, so it was a lot of fun to put this card together with a different look.

• Colour Combo: Peaceful Pine, Barely Blush & Golden Glow.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

   2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut Barely Blush Cardstock to 5" x 3 3/4". Emboss with the 'Fern & Flora' 3D Embossing Folder and add to card.

   2. Stamp and colour in 2 of the fern leaves, the flowers and a butterfly. I used Peaceful Pine, Barely Blush & Golden Grow Stampin' Blends. Cut out with the coordinating die and add to card with dimensionals.

   3. Cut out label piece in Basic White and stamp on sentiment in black. Add onto card, maybe tucking in a bit of Linen Thread behind if you like.

   4. Finish off with the Golden Glow In Color Butterflies.
