Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week we are going on an Easter Parade! I've been enjoying playing with different spring colour combos and Stampin' Up!'s Subtles family of colours is the perfect place to start. On this card I used: Lemon Lolly, Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral & Bubble Bath (with a hint of Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves).
The flowers come from the Petal Park Stamp Set. I first cut out my circle (the largest from the Stylish Shapes Dies) and then figured out where I wanted to stamp my leaves so they would peek out from behind. Then I stamped and punched out the flowers in the 3 colours. I stamped the outline full strength and then stamped off for the inside.
The sentiment is from the Kindest Expressions Stamp Set and was heat embossed in white. I added the circle on with dimensionals and then tucked the flowers either slightly behind or on top.
I love this light and springy colour combo and I hope it inspires you in your own Easter crafting!
