Saturday Blog Hop: Favourite January to April DSP 2026

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! This week our theme is to create a card with our favourite new Designer Series Paper from the January to April 2026 Mini Catalogue or January Online Exclusives.

I could have chosen at least 3 different packs of DSP, but ultimately I can't resist gold foil in paper, so I went with the 'Lovely & Beautiful' Specialty DSP.✨

Stampin' Up! Card Idea. Lovely & Beautiful DSP. Birthday Cards.

Products Used

  • DSP: Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP. It has an incredible springtime colour palette that is perfect no matter the occasion you'd like to use it for.

  • Colour Combo: Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink, Old Olive & Gold.

  • New Ephemera: Be sure not to miss checking out the 'Beautifully Adorned' Ephemera Pack that is a part of the Lovely & Beautiful Suite Collection.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Card Base:

    1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

      1. Score in half at 4 1/4".

    2. Cut Petal Pink Two-Tone Cardstock to 5" x 3 3/4". Add to card with the light side up.

    3. Cut Fresh Freesia patterned DSP to 4" x 3 3/4". Add to card.

    4. Cut a 1/2" x 3 3/4" strip of Fresh Freesia Cardstock and add it behind a 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" piece of the floral patterned DSP. Add this on top of the Fresh Freesia DSP.

  2. Card Details:

    1. Using the 'Sweet Blooms' Bundle, cut out the word 'lovely' in Fresh Freesia & Basic White. Add them together.

    2. Punch out one of the vellum label pieces from the 'Beautifully Adorned' Ephemera Pack. Add the 'lovely' to it with glue dots. Then add the whole piece to the card with Mini Dimensionals.

    3. Stamp the coordinating sentiments in Old Olive ink on Basic White. Cut to size and add to card with Mini Dimensionals.

    4. Finish off with a few of the 'Pearlized Faceted Circles'.

I think this card would be fun as a part of a set. Use the same layout, but just change the DSP to the others in the package. It was actually really hard to decide which pattern I used for this card - they are all so pretty, so this way you wouldn't have to decide!
