Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week is all about our favourite Designer Series Paper from the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue. I always find that I have patterned paper that I love right away from the first time I see it and then many others that slowly become my favourites. The Regency Park Designer Series Paper was my absolute favourite right away. It contains 3 of my favourite things: Yellow, Navy & Daisies!
It was a little bit of a crazy week, so I went with one of my favourite layouts for this card. It is such a good one when you want to show off your designer series paper. First, you take a regular sized card (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4"). Then you cut 3 1/4" off the front of the card. The DSP then becomes the card front. Cut a 4" x 5 1/2" piece to attach to the front, then add a 1/2" strip on the seams on the inside and outside for a more complete look to your card.

The sentiment just needs to be simple on a card like this. I heat embossed in white from one of my favourite sentiment stamp sets and then added it onto a bit of ribbon. Simple, yet fun!
