Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! For this week's theme we are celebrating our favourite new bundle in the January to April Mini Catalogue. I chose the Notes of Nature Bundle which is a part of the Nature's Sweetness Suite of products.
This bundle is all about creating layers. The Notes of Nature Stamp Set has a variety of images that are meant to be layered up together. I usually find these kinds of stamp sets intimidating, but the types of images here make it quite easy to do actually.
I started with the image that says 'field notes', and stamped it in Pebbled Path. Next, I added the image that looks like lined paper, stamped in Petal Pink. Then, I filled in the space with the ink splatter looking image, stamped in Pool Party.
Once you have your stamped background, add it onto some DSP and your card base.
The next part of the bundle of course, is the Notes of Nature Dies. Again, feel free to use all the dies and start layering things up! I love that the outline dies can cut out the images from the stamp set or the DSP. I cut out some leaves and a flower from the DSP and coloured them in with Stampin' Blends. It was so fun to colour them and still have the gold show through!
Then, I also cut out some leaf die shapes in Garden Green and layered everything up behind the sentiment. This is one of those bundles that helps you feel so creative and artistic and one you will love for a long time!
