Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Can you believe this is our last Christmas project already? Our theme is Modern Christmas and I thought that it was perfect for this week. When I think modern, I tend to think of clean and simple and that might be just what you need to make a few last minute cards.
I love the bold look of this card with Shaded Spruce, Black & White with a hint of Crushed Curry. The patterned paper comes from the retiring Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper and is cut to 3 3/4" x 5". I put it on a black matte just an 1/8" larger, cut at 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".
The sentiment comes from the Framed & Festive Stamp Set (Item #160888). This has become a go-to stamp set for me this year, if you haven't purchased it yet, I highly recommend getting it before it's gone and save it for next year! I heat embossed it in white on black cardstock and then cut it out with the largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The little stars are from the Spruced Up Outline Dies.
