Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme this week is Neutral Pallette. This was a fun challenge after being obsessed with the new In Colors for the last couple weeks. It gave me a good excuse to use my new favourite designer series paper and bundle, Country Woods DSP & the Simply Zinnia Bundle.
I used a Thick Basic White card base, then added a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Basic Black and another of the lovely wood patterns from the Country Woods DSP cut at 4" x 5 1/4". I love this style of woodgrain as it is a little more elegant looking than some of the other ones, which was perfect for the look I was going for.
To keep it neutral, I stamped the zinnias in black and heat embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock. The sentiment was cut out with a new label die from the Unbounded Love Dies.
For a little detail I added some linen thread and the Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon. I loved the way this card turned out so much that I ended up making a whole stack just like it for my monthly thank yous!
