Saturday Blog Hop: Orange Coloured Sky

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! Well, this is the last week of our song themed cards and we're finishing off with 'Orange Colored Sky' by Nat King Cole.🧡

Since Starbucks brought out their Fall menu this week, I thought that it was definitely time to make a Pumpkin Spice card to go with our orange theme!

Products Used

• Colour: Timid Tiger. If you're looking for an orange that's not quite as intense as Pumpkin Pie, then you're going to LOVE Timid Tiger. It's such a great orange!

• Bundle: More Than Autumn. I love this bundle! It's awesome and one that I'll go to through the whole fall season!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".

   2. Cut DSP (from Mixed Media Florals DSP) to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". Add to a piece of Timid Tiger cardstock cut to 3 5/8" x 4 7/8", then add both to card front.

2. Decorative Elements:

   1. Cut out the oval shape from the Celebratory Sips DSP. Add to card with dimensionals.

   2. Stamp and colour in your coffee cup and pumpkins.

      1. I stamped first in Memento Tuxedo Black. I coloured the sleeve of the coffee cup in Crumb Cake. The pumpkins are coloured with Pumpkin Pie. I added a bit of Ivory to the whipped cream and stamped the sprinkles in Pumpkin Pie.

   3. I cut out the word 'Pumpkin' with the dies and added to the card. Then you can use the More Than Autumn Stamp Set to find your perfect sentiment, there are lots of great mix & match options.

   4. Finish off with some Neutral Dots and you're done!

      
      

So, I guess now is the time to ask . . . do you like Pumpkin Spice? I hate to admit it, but I actually don't! I'll be looking forward to Apple Pie and maybe I'll try the Pecan Crunch drinks from Starbucks😊.
