Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week's theme is Pumpkin Spice. I think it's kind of funny how crazy the pumpkin spice craze is these days. I'm actually one of those people who doesn't like pumpkin flavoured anything (sorry!) but I do love to make a pumpkin themed card!
I have been wanting to make a card with this super cute pumpkin pattern from the All About Autumn DSP and this was the perfect week.
I kept the layout of this card fairly simple because the paper is so awesome, but I'm kind of in love with how it turned out! The pumpkin patterned paper and Cajun Craze cardstock were both cut to 3 3/4' x 5" and layered at an angle on a Crumb Cake card base.
To create the 'hello, pumpkin' sentiment for the card, I cut out the word 'pumpkin' in black cardstock with the Alphabet a la mode dies. I used the Adhesive Sheets with the letters to make them super easy to adhere to the card. The 'hello' comes from the Biggest Wish stamp set. It was heat embossed in white on black cardstock and fussy cut out to size. Simple, but fun!
