Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Our colour song for this week is 'Red'. I was surprised to find out that I didn't have any Designer Series Paper in red, so it was time to get creative with stamping! I went with an older favourite stamp set, Color & Contour. My red of choice for this card was Sweet Sorbet, a 2022-2024 In Color.
To create the background for the card, I used the paint splatter image from the stamp set and just stamped to fill the whole paper and then put it on a Sweet Sorbet card base. The flowers were stamped and cut out with the coordinating dies, Scalloped Contours.
The sentiment was heat embossed in black to help it pop a bit from all the red.
