Saturday Blog Hop: Red and Green 2025

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! It's time for a little Christmas in July, featuring the colours red & green❤️💚. I'm not usually making Christmas cards this time of year and I realized I'm going to need some new Christmas stamp sets this year! So, I thought I'd feature the cute, 'Humble Home' Bundle, which is on Stampin' Up!'s Last Chance Products list, so be sure to get it while you can!

Products Used

• Colour Combo: Classic with Cherry Cobbler & Garden Green. With a hint of gold too!

• Bundles: The cute gingerbread house from the 'Humble Home' Bundle was missing a gingerbread man . . . fortunately there's one in the 'More Than Autumn' Bundle!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".

   2. Cut Cherry Cobbler to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". and adhere to card.

   3. Cut Garden Green Cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5". Emboss with the 'Forever Plaid' 3D Embossing Folder and add to card.

2. Decorative Elements:

   1. Cut out the largest circle in the 'Stylish Shapes' Dies from the 'Regal Distressed' Specialty DSP. Add to card with dimensionals.

   2. Fold 7" of ribbon in half and add to circle with adhesive.

   3. Heat emboss house in white on Pecan Pie and punch out.

   4. Stamp sentiment in Cherry Cobbler, cut out with die of your choice and tuck in behind house. Add both to card with dimensionals.

3. Details:

   1. I just love these gingerbread men! Heat emboss 3 in white on Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut out with the coordinating die and add to card with Mini Dimensionals.

   2. Don't forget the Peppermints!
