Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! We are coming to the end of 2 amazing catalogues and our theme for this week was "Sorry to See You Go". We were to choose a stamp set that we were going to miss and I actually chose the same one that I used last week, Covered in Sunshine. I'm trying to use it as much as I can before it retires!
I decided to pair it with one of my favourite patterns of paper as well. This adorable daisy scene comes from the Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper. It makes it easy to create a card as all you need to do is add a sentiment!
I cut the DSP to the full size of a card, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Then I heat embossed the sentiment in white on Old Olive cardstock. The sun is heat embossed on Mango Melody cardstock. They are both just fussy cut out. I added a few gems on the flowers (the retired Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots) and that was all this card needed.
