Saturday Blog Hop: Z Fold Cards

Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week's theme was to create a Z Fold Card. It basically refers to the way that the card looks from the top, it looks like a 'Z'! I went with a Double Z Fold Card, so you get 2 'z's put together. (Hope that makes sense!) It was also so fun to create with products from the new 'A Little Latte Suite Collection' from the Online Exclusives.

Stampin' Up! Latte Love Stamp Set Z Fold Card Idea

Here are the basic dimensions for the base:

  • The Lost Lagoon card base was cut to 4 1/4" x 11". Then scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".

  • Cut 2 pieces of DSP to 2 1/2" x 4".

  • Cut one piece of DSP to 5 1/4" x 4".

These are the dimensions for the second 'Z'.

  • Pecan Pie base cut to 3" x 9". Then scored at 3" and 6".

  • Cut 2 pieces of DSP to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".

  • Cut Basic White to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".

Once you have these basics in place, then you can decorate your card however you like. On the front I cut out 2 of these cute coffee cups that come right from the A Little Latte DSP. So simple! The sentiment is from the Latte Love Stamp Set and was stamped in Pecan Pie.

For the inside of the card, I loved stamping the little coffee cup. Isn't it so cute?! I stamped the cup in Calypso Coral, the latte art inside with Pecan Pie and the sentiment is in Early Espresso. I added a little Linen Thread and a few Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots and that was all!
