Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! It is officially December and here we go for a fun and busy month ahead. This week our theme is All That Glistens and it gives us a chance to pull out all of our favourite sparkly items. I have really loved having Red Glimmer Paper again with this catalogue and knew that I wanted to use it on this card.
The card base is Crumb Cake and then I added Real Red cardstock cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and a piece of the Snowflake Vellum cut at 3 3/4" x 5". I love the look of pink and red together for Christmas, so using the Spruced Up Bundle I cut out the outline of the ornaments in Real Red Glimmer Paper and the inside in Blushing Bride. I stamped the details on the ornaments in Real Red and added on Wink of Stella, which looks fun and sparkly in person but doesn't show up too great in photos.
The sentiment was stamped in Real Red and then heat embossed with clear powder to give it a little extra shine on the Crumb Cake cardstock. Completing the card was a bit of gold twine and red rhinestones.
