Saturday Blog Hop: Animal Kingdom

We're having fun with an Animal Kingdom theme this week for our blog posts. I don't usually get too many animal sets, but like everyone else I wasn't able to resist the adorable 'Cutest Crew' Bundle!

Products Used

• Bundle: 'Cutest Crew'. Adorable little dogs, cats & birds! The surprise is that the little birds have become my favourite part of this bundle.

• Colour Combo: Crisp Cantaloup & Secret Sea

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

   2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut a Secret Sea DSP (this is from Mixed Up Patterns) to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and add to card.

   2. Cut Crisp Cantaloupe DSP (2026-2028 In Color Painted Patterns DSP) to 3" x 4" and mat on a 3 1/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock. Add to centre of card

3. Details:

   1. Heat emboss in white on Secret Sea Cardstock the sentiment and cut out with the 'Scalloped Blooms' Dies.

   2. Cut out the lined die from Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock. Cut into 4 pieces and tuck behind the sentiment. Then add this whole piece to the card with dimensionals.

   3. Stamp birds in Black and colour with Stampin' Blends. I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow & Granny Apple Green. Cut out and add to card.

   4. Cut out the little butterflies and add to card.

   5. Add a few In Colour Butterflies too.
