Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme for this week is "Bye-Bye" as we say goodbye to some of our favourite retiring items. I really like cute and whimsical stamp sets, so I am definitely going to miss the "Just My Type" Stamp Set with its little typewriter and fun images and type font. To help me say goodbye, I decided to pair it with 2 new In Colors so I could be excited about what is coming up!
To create the card background I tried my hand at masking and using the Stampin' Brayer. Using the Masking Paper, I created a border on a piece of Basic White Cardstock. Then with the brayer I added in Petunia Pop ink on the bottom and then Pretty in Pink on top. I wasn't really sure how it was going to turn out, but I ended up really loving the unevenness of it. It creates a really different look than with Blending Brushes, but I really like it!

I stamped my typewriter, the paper outline and the rainbow in black. I coloured in the rainbow by dipping my Wink of Stella in a bit of the ink that I just put on a block. Then to make the sentiment pop a bit more, I heat embossed it in black and decided to cut it in strips so it didn't fill so much of the card. Adding in the new 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots was the final touch!
