Saturday Blog Hop: Cards with Polka Dots

Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week's theme is another fun one, Polka Dots. I love how fun and cheery polka dots are and that is also how I would describe the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. This paper can be earned with Stampin' Rewards in combination with any order over $200. There are so many cute patterns paired with bold, vibrant colours, which I thought would be perfect for a kids birthday card featuring the returning favourite, Penguin Place Stamp Set.

I've got to admit, I had so much fun stamping the penguins and choosing all the different accessories. I especially love the little red clown nose! Once I had the penguins stamped and punched out with the coordinating Penguin Builder Punch, I lined them up on the card and added in all the details. All the patterned paper on this card comes from this Celebrate Everything DSP. The 'happy birthday' comes from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. The final detail on the card was the Glossy Dots, that are the perfect finishing touch for a polka dot themed card!
