Saturday Blog Hop: Casing Lori de Groot 2026

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! Well, this week on our blog hop, we are casing . . . me! I went back to a card I made last summer that featured my favourite Stampin' Up! colour, Petunia Pop, and I thought this layout would work well with a brand new stamp set from the upcoming March Online Exclusives - the 'Flowers Fair' Stamp Set.

Products Used

• Colour Combo: Petunia Pop & Old Olive

• Stamp Set: Flowers Fair. This will be available starting on Tuesday, March 3rd with the March Online Exclusives.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Petunia Pop Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

   2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut Petunia Pop Two-Tone Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and add to card with the light side up.

   2. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".

      1. Stamp the 'Flowers Fair' image in black. Add colour with Blending Brushes, with Old Olive on the bottom and Petunia Pop on the top.

      2. Add to card front.

3. Sentiment:

   1. Cut Old Olive Two-Tone Cardstock to 4" x 1 1/2" and tear the top and the bottom. Add to card over where the green and the purple meet.

   2. Using the 'Words of Beauty' Bundle, cut out 'because' in Old Olive Cardstock, and the outline in white.

      1. Add some colour to the outline with Old Olive Ink and a Blending Brush. Add to card with mini dimensionals.

      2. Stamp coordinating sentiment in Petunia Pop on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating label die. Add to card with mini dimensionals.

   3. Finish off with some Petunia Pop Sparkle Gems.
