Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! We are celebrating Christmas in July this week! I am experiencing super hot weather here in Calgary, so it's kind of funny to be working on Christmas cards. However, when you have such amazing products to work with, I find I can quickly get in the mood! When looking through the July - December 2022 Mini Catalogue, I really loved the Handmade Wishes Bundle. It's going to be a lot of fun for tags and homemade gifts. I've used it here as the main sentiment and the adorable little gingerbread men.
First, let's start with the background though. I created a stencil with the striped die from the Candy Cane Dies. I put the stencil over Basic White cardstock and added Sweet Sorbet ink with my Blending Brushes. I just love how soft and beautiful the colour turned out. I then adhered this to a Mint Macaron card base.
The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Sweet Sorbet cardstock and punched out with the fabulous new Handmade Tag Punch. Then it was just about the details; Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine, Seasonal Sequins, a little heart and of course my gingerbread men! They were stamped in Soft Suede and heat embossed with clear powder to make them shiny and happy!
