Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme for this week is 'Colour Me Happy". There are so many amazing lined stamp sets where you can really unleash your creativity as you colour them in. I chose the adorable stamp set, 'Count on Me'.
All of the animals are just the cutest, you are sure to find one you love no matter where you live! Koalas are my most favourite animal (they have been for as long as I can remember!), but for today I used the cutie kangaroo and the bear. I will be the first to admit that my colouring skills are not quite professional yet (ha!), but that is what I love about card making . . . all levels welcome! I chose to use the Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens to bring these animals to life.
I used Basic White for a card base, then coloured Designer Series Paper (4 1/8" x 5 3/8"), coloured cardstock (3 5/8" x 4 7/8") and black & white DSP (3 1/2" x 4 3/4") as the base for each card.
The white circle comes the Beautiful Shapes Dies, then the sentiment comes from the awesome Celebrating You Stamp Set. It was stamped on the label die from the Pierced Blooms Dies. The ribbon keeps a soft touch perfect for a baby card and finally I just added a few rhinestones.
